Outbreaks of the fungus Chalara fraxinea

Ash trees in the Hills represent about 10% of the total tree stock.The Trust is currently monitoring the recent outbreaks of the fungus Chalara fraxinea which is devastating Ash trees over europe.We will monitor the situation as it unfolds,however we have no signs of the disease at the moment.
